The Under Construction Youth Music Project at Cathays want to recruit
\n4 volunteers to take part in a short \u201cTraining for Trainers\u201d project in song writing skills<\/b> funded by a grant from Voluntary Services Cardiff. The project will start in February and run for around three months.<\/p>\n
To apply you will need to be aged between 14 and 25 and already have some experience of song writing. You get to attend three training workshops which will be held on Sunday afternoons at Cathays, on the 9th<\/sup>, 16th<\/sup> and 23rd<\/sup> of February.<\/b> Here you\u2019ll have the opportunity to hone your skills and to learn how to pass on your skills and knowledge to other young people. After that, we\u2019ll ask you to work in pairs to design and lead a couple of song writing sessions for other youth members.<\/p>\n If you are interested in becoming a volunteer trainer on this project, speak to Joel or Jon or to a youth worker at Cathays Community Centre.
