The Under Construction Youth Music Project at Cathays want to recruit
4 volunteers to take part in a short “Training for Trainers” project in song writing skills funded by a grant from Voluntary Services Cardiff. The project will start in February and run for around three months.
To apply you will need to be aged between 14 and 25 and already have some experience of song writing. You get to attend three training workshops which will be held on Sunday afternoons at Cathays, on the 9th, 16th and 23rd of February. Here you’ll have the opportunity to hone your skills and to learn how to pass on your skills and knowledge to other young people. After that, we’ll ask you to work in pairs to design and lead a couple of song writing sessions for other youth members.
